Students gain the skills, confidence, and network to venture into the radically uncertain future.
Our mission is to deliver extraordinary experiences for extra-ordinary campus partners. Campus Scrambles™ are the on-campus training-ground for students pursuing opportunities in startup and industry innovation.
Since 2009, we’ve gradually expanded Scramble™ program offerings. With 1,000’s of alumni across 30+ campuses, our work and impact extends across 4 continents. Scramblers go on to launch and lead successful organizations (Attend.com, One Degree, Six Foods, Hoowenware, Food Recovery Network) and work in boundary-pushing startups and companies.
Our programs are strategically embedded into campus Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center agendas, as well as high school and Executive Education programs, as a broader problem-solving platform.
Our powerful facilitation, deliverable-driven approach, and immersive skill-building techniques make every Scramble™ experience–start to end–just different.
On behalf of dozens of campuses and Scramble™ alumni around the world, we welcome the opportunity to Scramble™ your campus.
Founder & Managing Director
In line with the Scramble™ mission to prepare students for the radically uncertain future, Stephen Douglass is responsible for guiding the overall firm vision, strategy, and program experience.
Stephen began his career in Scranton, PA as a teen activist for student-driven startup/innovation movements. His professional background spans multiple startups, mergers & acquisitions at BB&T Capital Markets, capital raising, and distressed private equity. He’s grown Scrambles™ globally and is a dynamic program designer and facilitator supporting international enterprises and organizations.
Having led and advised startup ventures and initiatives over the past 13 years, Stephen—along with the Campus Scramble™ team—continue to introduce new and proven methods to train and equip campus leaders serving the unique needs of emerging founders and innovators.
Stephen was an All-American athlete and Division 1 NCAA gymnast at The College of William and Mary. He earned an MBA from Babson College where he was a Frederick Hamilton Scholar. When not Scrambling, you can find Stephen coaching the MIT Men’s Gymnastics Team, mentoring student founders, or out on the town breakdancing to a good DJ set.
He enjoys connecting new Scramblers with Scramble™ alumni who now lead high-growth startups, for-/non-profit organizations, and internal innovation initiatives in companies around the world.
